AUTHOR’S NOTE:
It’s hard to say where this story began. Some of the elements have been in my consciousness for more than fifty years, while others were distilled through experience and study as I developed a world view based on possibilities and intention rather than circumstance or ‘destiny’.
I was helping a friend with a resort on the Rogue River in Oregon and had signed up for a week-long advanced intensive in Denver for Spring 2025. Another friend drove from Medford to Denver, and on the way, I read a book I had picked up called ‘Something Deeply Hidden’ by Sean Carroll. As the jacket declared, it was about Quantum Worlds and the Emergence of Spacetime. It sounded ‘tasty’ and I became immersed over the next three days, reading and discussing the ideas with my travel companion.
The format was approachable and interesting. I grasped some of the ideas I had heard about with a depth of understanding that was surprising to me, given I had not defined myself in any scientific context for many years. The workshop was presented by a doctor who teaches techniques that are showing remarkable success with thoughts or beliefs impacting physiology. The training is based on meditation and the utilization of Quantum understanding. I was glad I had the foundation of Sean Carroll’s perspective as I was able to grasp the somewhat complex concepts being taught.
A frenzy of creativity ensued. I was highly motivated to find a way to express and apply the newly comprehended refinement that I had grappled with for many years under the guise of manifesting and metaphysics. I saw where the paths of science and metaphysics diverged. I was inspired to build a bridge between the disciplines that might allow adherents of positive thinking to better grasp the foundation of creative selection, aligning with intention and gratitude to manifest desired realities.
At this time I was inspired to share a couple of simple, meaningful stories with a friend over coffee. We started with ‘The Little Prince’ by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and continued with ‘The Alchemist’ by Paulo Coelho. Suddenly, the idea of creating a dialogue between mythical beings was born. I chose characters with the intention to find a way to ‘reconcile’ disparate realities through understanding Quantum Theory. The approach was whimsical, the characters defined the boundaries of their abilities with humor and humility. It was a way to explore some interesting ideas without the resistance inherent in human nature when it comes to new or different concepts.
Through this journey I have come to believe that reciprocity is key. The flow of giving and receiving is imperative when it comes to the balance of the universe and must be actively engaged in all relationships and interactions to avoid an out of balance condition. Exchange of value does not translate into currency or material objects, but rather in a mutually perceived value that is freely and lovingly offered while being received with humility and gratitude.
Productive effort is genuinely given because of awareness and a collective vision of the meaning and objective held by a conscious community of souls who have come together for this purpose. There is a profound level of fulfillment and mutual support experienced when held with personal sovereignty and a shared perceptual context.

The forest itself lets out a great sigh. All is restored to balance among the trees. Sassy holds the energy still for a moment, she can feel the waves building in intensity as they approach. She holds firm and moves the energy back with a wavelike gesture. Palms up at shoulder height. A gentle push and the wave is released across endless space, the ripples receding and surging like the tide. Allowing the tempo of the waves to be a natural flow, the back-and-forth pulse is measured and slow. Sassy stands at the crossroads of the energy lines.
The Past and Future Self intersect in the Now. The Lower and Higher Self are reconciled in the Here. Coming together in the Here and Now is the powerful point of choice that results in an authentic experience.
She holds her awareness in this moment and allows the conscious vibration to go out telepathically, covering all the guests. Every being at the feast stops mid-chew. A fiber of energy connects every sentient being, and they now share a common consciousness. Each retains their unique experiential identity and perception, but the connection means communication and understanding are enhanced and immediate.
"We are gathered in celebration and joy. Let us be present with each other in our time together. Being in full presence and holding space means that I am occupying my greatest level of self-awareness. I hold that space for you to show up in your highest form of consciousness - HERE. We have the opportunity to interact from, and to, our Highest Self Awareness in manifest form as the beings we are in this moment - NOW. This Higher Self Perception allows a perspective that is without judgment and holds unconditional love. It is one of the greatest gifts of consciousness to occupy that perspective without hesitation or reservation.
“You, who are within the sound of my voice, have the incredible opportunity to join in another's journey by receiving a specific perspective through the experiential perception of the other. Once you have experienced another's reality, you can also share a collective intention. This is not to be confused with giving over your power or individuality. Personal Sovereignty is essential. Each individual embodies a unique gift needed to fit the pieces together and create a pattern. This pattern is the paradigm that defines reality. As we grow, we change, we shift, we move. The paradigm changes too. The pattern is a kaleidoscope, constantly spiraling, and we are part of the infinite expression of the Unified Field playing out in unlimited ways. We choose what we will observe, and by observing, manifest. When we share our perception and hold a common vision, we bring consciousness into form.
The greatest version of you that can possibly be, is waiting for your invitation to manifest. When holding a common vision, we empower ourselves and each other, knowing that anything and everything already exists in the Unified Field."
The beings gathered to celebrate have come together to experience this connection, they allow themselves to exchange perceptions and come to understand one another. Conscious Communities grow and reach across boundaries of species and race to connect on a greater level. The vision of thriving in a world of peace and plenty is held in unison, across countless perspectives. It is gathering force as a thought form, observed as a particle, on a wave of energy.
They are united. Disputes are forgotten in their shared perspective. This is the world they are co-creating with divine Source. They have left the duality dimension and can now access the frequencies available through the portals of the higher energy centers. Unity and oneness are constants here. There is no need for contrast to recognize bliss. This is one sure way to move beyond the threat of mass extinction. It takes a diverse universe to resonate with the Unified Field of Pure Potential.

Milton writes with a distinctive blend of whimsy and rigor. A Dialogue of Mythic Proportion is Book One of The Dialogue Series, and it ends, fittingly, at "The Beginning" — the triad poised at the Crown portal, the community renewed, the filter in place, and a young human girl named Robin waiting on the far side of childhood for the forest she already knows is home. It is an invitation, not a conclusion. Readers will want to accept it.
